Default Time for a larger stall converter

I currently am running the Vig3200 stall converter and i am thinking of using my free re stall to change it to either a 3600 or 4000 stall. I'm trying to get my car under 11.50 and i know i am pretty close i think upping my stall will most likely get me there. I know vig stalls are a little under rated my 3200 is more like a 3400-3500 stall. What do you guys think would be the best choice for me

I have an SS3800 and would eventually plan on going to a PT4400. This 3800 isn't so loose with the 3.23s I have so I know if I went to a 3.73 and ran that 4400, I'd be plenty happy.

Call Yank or PI

If your car is a DD, go with the 3600. I test drove a 99TA with a 3600 and it was WAY more than I am willing to use as a DD.

thats what i was thinking bc there converters are usually under rated so the 3600 would be more like a 3800

i daily drove a vig 4400 for almost 2 years with 3.73's and it wasn't bad at all. it did feel like it was inefficient up top. i'm now running a pt 4000 and it is so much stronger. i won't be running anything but a yank again

if you bought it through them and your with in the time line then you just call them up, they give you the shipping info and you send it in. you'll pay shipping both ways. how big you gonna go??

I originally bought the Vig 3200. I had it sitting in my house for like a year, and one day I said screw it and sent it back to Vig to get a 3600 before I even put it in. I'm glad I did, cus the Vig 3600 is great. My gas mileage did go down a lot though... My next converter, if I ever do change would be a Yank SS4000, or the PT 4000. It would be interesting to find out myself the whole Yank vs Vig, instead of reading it on forums. Jack at PI told me to basically add 200 RPM to thier stalls. So it's close to a 3800-4000 depending on your ride.
