Anyone ever mount a tranny cooler under the car?
I'm considering mounting my tranny cooler under the car on the passenger side at the rear of the tranny. There is a nice indent there from something previous. I have no exhaust in that area but was curious if it's been done before and how it may work.

I was wondering this myself. I'm about to mount mine, but most people here I see mount them in front of the radiator. My car however still has AC as well and it seems most of the posts and pics I saw were of cars that didn't. What's the best spot to mount it if the car still has AC?

Heres a pic of mine with ac. I also set the low speed fan temp down a bit so air is always moving while stopped.
Highest I've seen it was 165* with HPTuners scanning. It's got no radiator cooler either.

i mounted mine there and even with 2 of the standard B&Ms there, it got HOT at idle because of no airflow. I bought another B&M that has a fan and thermostat on it. It works like a CHARM!!!! Highest temp i have seen is 194deg...4000#...3.08 rear and tbrake really put my tranny thru a workout. I grounded the ground wire to the frame/body and ran the hot wire to the big wire/lug on the starter since it is sitting there doing nothing once the car is started. 194 degrees was on a mountain cruise but i am very happy with it like that
