Default Converter Reccomendation

Ok, I reviewed the archives and believe the consensus would be for a 3600 stall for max ET, but I drive my car 150miles round trip to work on most days. Here is what I want, and what I have.

Goal 11.8's Current Performance/MODS
12.5's at 111-112,
01 A4, exhaust, ram air, 1.85 rockers, pulley, 3.23 gears.

I plan to install 3.73 gears next weekend. Is there a big difference between a 2800 stall and a 3600 stall when you are daily driving? I have read that after 40mph, it makes no difference, since they lock up 100%. What about trans temps, will they be impacted by the higher stall just daily driving??
I understand it will make a big difference at the track, which is great, but I am on 95 traveling at 75mph most of the time.

Thanks!!

I'm not sure on trans temps, i just bought one of the best coolers out there. So I can just hope it's doing its job.

If you are doing highway driving like you say, then it will make no difference. Get the 3600. My ss3600 is barely noticeable around town

If you are going for a max ET and a good street car, then I would suggest our "4C" rated at 36-3800. It is a perfect blend of the two. When you get the gears it will make it drive even better. The 3200 won't be enough stall, you need more that that to produce better ET's. Good Luck.
