Default anyone builds in Columbus area?

I got a 700r4 off a third gen that i want to put in my fourth. I need it built not to the max but pretty generious build. Haha before everyone has a fit on why i want to use a 700r4 instead of a th350 or th400 it is because neither one has overdrive and simply i have in my hands a 700r4. im looking build the car to around 450hp or 11.90 1/4 which ever comes first haha.

p.s.- i know you can put a overdrive gear in a th350 and possibly a th400 but im not sure on that. arent the th350 and th400 much heavier too?

My question is really why would you swap out a 4l60e for a 700r4 whats the advantage? If I am understanding what you are doing.

the 700r4 is almost the exactly the same trans as a 4l60 when they renamed it in early 90's. now the 4l60e is diffrent and i dont want the electronic controled shifts.

Actually internally they are still almost exactly the same. Not sure why you would want to loose the programmability of the electronic shifts .But to each his own there, But likely you would come out just as well just to buy a 700r4 as and already built unit. The 700r4 core has very little value $
