What is your bolt on car shift points?
Hey guys I have a bolt on car with stock converter and 3.42's and just had it tuned. My tuner tweeked with my transmission and I noticed when I got it home that it shifted from 1>2 @ 5800 and 2>3 @ 6200. I found it odd and was just wondering what all of you have yours set at.
Thanks, Chase

I have my rev' limiter set at 6300 but moved my shift points down to 34, and 73. They are way low because my converter slips a lot up top and would touch the rev' limiter at the track. No problems now though ;D

By bolt-on, I assume headers and catback, lid, ram air (e.g. FTRA or BG Ram Air). If you have the stock converter you need a much higher shift point on the 1-2 because there is a huge drop in rpm on that upshift. I'd raise it to 6200 minimum and would consider 6300 with a rev limiter at 6400.
BTW, even with a converter, I'd still use 6100 - 6200 rpm.

Not sure. I also can not get it to shift if I pull it down in 1st at WOT no matter where you shift "even at 4500" it just want shift out. I wonder what that is about?
