Default Dranny dipstick?

Maybe Im stupid but i can't get my damn dipstick to come out... I nlock it and pull and it seems like it locked on something and it feels like if i pull too hard i will break it. does anyone know how to overcome this problem?

Theres a little like separated piece at the bottom I have seen these beak and catch on the bottom of the dipstick tube. Your choices are: Pull really hard and hope not to break the stick but manage to bend the piece, Or pull the pan and bend it out of the way then remove the stick

Thanx I think I will just take the pan off and do it that way it sounds more safe...

probably a good idea I have had mixed results the other way before and ended up pulling the pan anyway lol
