Default 4l80E tunnel clearancing

I cut away the extra bracing metal but there still isn't room for the main connector. Is there any way I can get in there and BFH it a little more with the tranny in the car? I have everything bolted up and torqued down and really hate to pull it back out.

Cable to the rescue again. I just took the hole saw to the tunnel and now I have lots of room.

I dont think I beat anything. I cut the square, dropped the trans down a fuzz, plugged the connector in and bolted it back up and all was good.

I had to bang it with a hammer. you could always pry with a bar or big screwdriver and make it work.
B4 hammering.

Whats done is done, but you should always test fit as much as possible b4 going all the way.
