Default Tranny fluid, flamable?

Leaking fluid all over my exhaust pipe. Will it catch on fire?

You need to get that leak fixed it is flammable.

had a leak from the rear transmission seal of a car i used to have and it dripped on the catalitic converter and it never caught fire....smoke a lot though.

It has to hit a very very hot area like a white hot header etc its flash point is a little over 400 degrees

All it needs is a wick. There are candle oils that are not flammable but obviously burn.

I know this because i was in the middle of nowhere a long time ago and seen a trail of smoke behind me. I had wrapped headers. The pump bushing walked out and it blew fluid all over the wrapped pass side header. It was on fire and wasn't close to going out.
