Default Used/New Tranny...

Well I decided I'm going to get a new or used transmission. I want one that has some kind of warranty and has some kind of shift kit. Its for an LT1 I have about $700 maybe a little more to put towards the transmission. I don't think I can afford a new performabuilt transmission so any help would be great...I'm kinda in a rush to get this. Thanks

The only thing about a used trans is well just that used you never know really what your getting and are unlikely to get a warranty. Some times its better to spend money now to keep from paying later, You are not going to get much of a trans for 700 dollars anywhere. That would be about right for a stock overhaul on a carry in to the shop deal with little or no performance parts.
Now if your close to us and can bring your in though I don't think we could do it at 700 dollars if you contact me I might can do you somewhat a better deal since you wont have shipping and do have your own core.

I always think thats funny the auto guys are always saying the they wanna switch to six speed and the six speed guys to autos lol. You would think everyone could trade trouble is usually each wants to swap because they broke there trans and thinking the other is better lol
