Can the C5 use a LT1 Torque Converter?

Default Can the C5 use a LT1 Torque Converter?

I had read somewhere on the net that the a LT1 TC is the same as the one in a C5 Corvette - Can someone confirm ?

Yes it will work providing that you do not have a 2005.

If it will bolt up then it will work. The 2005 C5 Vince is referring to has a much smaller bolt pattern and will not bolt up to a LT1 style converter.
