I am building a 68 nova with a 4L80E transmission what shifter are you guys using?
Is a 4l60E shifter different than a 4L80E shifter?

i used my stock 60e shifter and just use one mounting hole on the cable bracket where it attaches to the tranny/pan

A very nice aftermarket shifter you might consider is the B&M Pro Ratchet.

i was looking for same thing. wondering what the reviews of this shifter is?
not too many choices for shifters. i have a stock camaro one reworked to fit mine. but would like something different though.

I'm using a regular B&M Mega Shifter. Anything that would work with a 4 speed trans should work fine. I used a B&M TH400 shift linkage plate.

What are you doing to get the trans in the car? I put a 700R4 in my 70 SS & it was a tight fit in the tunnel.
