Sorry to see you having trouble with Fuddle, hate to see that. I would recommend staying with a Sponsor here... all of us are tried and true!

Take a look at what we have to offer. Below is a link to our Street / Strip series Torque Converters. No doubt we could build you what you are looking for.

^^^^^Agreed....you already had one bad experience, you don't need another. I would suggest Yank (3 year warranty on new converters) or Vig, you absolutely can't go wrong with either one of those. I've also heard great things about Circle D and ACE. If ACE's converters are anything like Gilbert's customer service, it'd be hard to pass those up. I've personally run Yank always and couldn't be happier. The performance of a Yank is hard to beat. Good luck and let us know which one you decide on.

I am not looking to spend the big $$$ though. I bought a Fuddle 2 years ago and it was a great converter. I tried to order another and it has been over a month from fuddle with no converter or response from them, so I cancled my payment.

Im deffintly looking to stay under $600 shipped

The units you see in that thread are priced at $550.00. Your choice of stall, anti- balloon plates $50.00 extra.

Give me a shout... we can definately hook you up!

I'm about to run some errands, so give me a couple of hours and then ring.

u should have learned your lesson the first time by messing around with cheap converters. with our trannies being suspect as it already is, why would u want to dump a cheap converter in it?

go with vigilante, yank or circle D!! they are all proven.. and gil@ ACE is giving you a good price on there converters. i would stick to any one of these for sure.

i would have to admit you wont find a good converter priced new for less then 550. all the ones priced under that have tons of horror stories to go along with their cheap price. i personally went with an edge converter. andre is a great guy to deal with and they have great turn-around time also, which i have heard is so bad for vig that some people buy new stalls instead of wait. man that sucks....

"Boss hog" converters are junk!!!! As bad as I hate to say it, you'd be better off with a TCI than a boss hog.

I ordered my Fuddle the first week of June. As of Monday 7/7 I wasnt charged by them at all. I went to cancel my credit card that I gave them on 7/8 and they have charged it. They sent an email stating it shipped, but no tracking #. They still will not awnser my calls or emails.

Fuddle emailed me a tracking # this morning and it looks like the part is here in MI

I hope I dont have any problems with the converter. The one I had from them for my LT1 car worked great.
