What 4L60E do i need to bolt to my LQ9?
Starting to look for a tranny for my LQ9 swap into my 75 chevelle. I have been told i need a 4L60E out of an ls1 car (or truck). Are those really my only options? I assume i can keep the flywheel that came with the LQ9.

All 4L60's have the same gearing. 3.08, 1.63, 1.00, .70.
The 99 and newer 4L60E's meant for the newer Gen III and IV blocks will make your swap much easier. You can use older style 4L60E's but then you'll be in the same world I am...hunting down conversion parts. It hasn't been fun.
