Default Th350 help

I just installed a RVB th350 with a 4000 stall and a t brake and I'm having some issues. Here are few details about my car before I go any farther.
TSP 228/228 581/581 112 cam only, 28" Hoosier QTP's, spooled 9"/4.30's.

I took it to the track and made a few passes and it would not come close to making it to the end of the track, only about 1000ft. Everything I have looked at tells me this setup should run 124mph@6400rpm. It was running 92-93 in the 1/8th and I was letting off just before it was running out of gear. The trans acted fine except for around 5-5500rpm in the top of 3rd it almost feels like it is slipping but I don't think it was. Could this be the converter? I would think if it was the converter it would do it at the same place in 1st and 2nd. Any ideas?

It's crazy that you are running out of gear. I have a 226 cam only LQ4 with TH350(3500 stall) and 4.56 gears with 28" slicks. I think I cross the line anywhere from 6500-6800rpms(tach is a bit slow). My MPH sucks though...it's only 109/110mph.
