Default trans filter? deep or not?? 1998 3.8 camaro
i went to get a transmission filter for my 98 v6 3.8 camaro and the guy asked if it was a deep pan or not, how do i tell what i have? i dont have any other to compare it to please help!!!

You have a regular pan unless you have changed it so a short one is what you need.

do you have a picture of a deep pan? mine looks deep, its about 2 inches from the bolts to the bottom of the pan.

2 inches from the bolts is the shallow pan. Here is a pic of the deep pan.
