yep, the car has been shaking too, but only in drive or reverse, in park or neutral it idles great. iwas thinking this may have to do with the drive shaft? idk.

Its hard to say Perhaps your should stop at a garage or dealer just to get and opinion.

i will, just seeing what i could come up with on ls1tech. ill check back after i get their opinion and if it is a trans youll hopefully be hearing from me.

It may be the trans/converter but I would feel better with the symptoms you describe if a professional at least verified it in person if they do give me a call and we can fix you up

trans or converter either way i suppose will be fine, have to replace both sooner or later.

Sounds like a driveability problem like your motor is going flat when loaded. Do a light brake torque to see if it starts missing. The clunking that you heard might not be the trans getting ready to fall out but the motor from detonation. Hate to see you get a trans to find out that the motor is not running correctly. Vince

whats do you mean a light brake torque? im sort of tired today lol...yeah and actually i did look at the motor yesterday and it was shaking more than usual im thinking maybe the motor mounts are shot too, idk theres multiple things wrong with the car even besides this. ill be bringing to car to the shop hopefully sometime this week and itll be sitting in my garage until then.
