Default TH350 TV cable question

I want to convert my truck from a 4l60 to a th350 I have a drive by wire throttle body on my truck so no throttle cable wich means I cant use a TV cable I want to go with a built th350 but I thought they have a TV cable and the TH400s have a vacuum modulator, Ive seen ajustable vacuum modulators from B&M and TCI for a TH350 does this take the place of the TV cable???

No the TH350 has a modulator that is used to control line pressure and a governor that controls when the trans will shift. The cable on a 350 is used for kick down and it will also increase line pressure when doing so. Vince

OK, well I researched a little more and found out the TH350C has a electric kickdown soleniod instead of a cable, can I just buy this assembley and install it in place of the kickdown cable on a TH350.

If I dont have the cable or the solenoid I will burn up the trans right?

The th350C has a lock up torque converter and solenoid for it, its the same as a th350 otherwise.
They both have kickdown cables, no th350 has a kickdown solenoid.

A th400 has a kickdown solenoid. Some kickdown solenoid switches were operated by the gas pedal. I guess there could be a way to fabricate mounts to connect the th350 cable to the gas pedal.

Ive got a TH350 in my car...opted not to use the kickdown at all. Pulled the pan off and yanked out the lever on the thottle body for it. If I need a passing gear I just manually drop into second. Ive got 4.10 gears though so Im usually okay leaving it in 3rd (or drive).

You can do that too but you don't get the pressure rise and firm shifts at wot.

I thought about gion this route, but haveing the cable running through the truck might look like and I dont know if the pedal has enough travel for the cable. So removeing the cable will decrease trans performance even with manual shifts?
