Default built 60-e line pressure

what should the line pressure be in park/rev/drive/first

i have one that shifts fine ect while driving but delays when you put it into drive,
you can start giving it gas and after it goes about 10 feet and gets the rpm up to about 2k some it slams into first....its like 1st slips(car does move though) for about 10 feet then all the sudden engauges the rest of the way....

also i cant manually keep this car in 1st gear...from a stop slow roll anything...can the tune keep it from geting first?

Max line with the trans harness un plugged which would be the same as WOT or close should be 200 to 230 psi, Idle line with trans harness plugged in 60-80 roughly This is in od position/neutral park testing high or low line,
As for manually keeping it in first you cant unless you install a kit like the transgo HD2 otherwise the PCM can over ride the manual position . Wether you can do anything about it in tuning I do not know

if i hold the shifter in 1st then take off from a stop like normal i never feel it shift and its in second...so it seems to be starting in second....??? if i put it in od it seems perfectly normal...

i guess im getting at my problem might be first isnt working period? or 1st is slipping ans second is the chirp/slam i feel

well first is not a gear clutch or band wise like second and third its just the forward clutch on with the low roller clutch holding. and the forward clutch is on in the other gears too and its unlikely the low roller is slipping, You say its starts in second when your in manual first but starts in first when you are in OD position , I would try and get a scanner on it and see what gears being commanded and do you have and SES light on?
You see the only ting happening when you place the trans in manual low is the low/reverse clutch comes on and supports the low roller and the overun clutch comes on other than that all your really doing is telling the PCM to hold trans in first longer .

no it seems to never be starting in first...
if i manual first it still seems to not be in first...
its hard to explain as i start giving it gas from a stop like normal it gets to about 2k then slams into gear....but im not sure if it slams into first or second...
btw overdrive works so its not a solanoid....i know its not a band issue..not sure if first has a clutch pack?

pressure at idle is 75, put it in drive it dips to 60 then jumps back to 75-80 in a 1 second span...
driving at 15mph on the lift its at 100

its a fresh build so it didnt start out of the blue...

no ses lgiht

Ok I am trying to understand so bear with me if you start off are yu saying the car dosent move or very little then when the RPM is at 2000 or so its like if you reved the car to 2000 in neutral and pull down into OD ?

yes its like a neutral drop out at 2000 or so...maybe 1800...if you pull it into drive it will move but barely...(has a stall in it...brand new yank which normally dont have problems)

ok so i had the car on the scanner tonite...put te selector in 1st and noids are on-on and the car is in second? i can drive up to 30 mph an im only at 3000 rpm....shift it to second on the shifter and the noids go off-on i believe and the rpm doesnt change no shift...goto 3rd and off-off and it shifts...shift to od and it goes on-off and it shifts fine...

for some reason its got no 1st and i think tahts the problem with the slam or "neutral dropout" at 2000 rpm

Both solenoids on the car should be in 1st , I would have to say you have a valve body issue sticking valve or cross leak something that came to mind perhaps a broke or missing 1-2 shift valve spring

I understand but its gota be mechanical in some way if the PCM is turning on both solenoids and you are in second
