Default 700R4 OD in WOT?

Is there anything I can do to get this. I went to a trans shop and had a part changed out and was told this would do it. It did not. They are trying to tell me to change out the governor to a E gov.

Also this is a one wire lock up in OD. Will it hurt it if I run it in WOT once it is fixed in lock up?

This is in a LT1 powered RX7 with 100 shot of nos. Run mid 11's not running in wot in od at about the 1000' mark.

If the installed a sonnax or fairbanks full throttle up shift sleeve in the throttle valve you should be able to make the 3-4 shift once you get fast enough. That would depend on your rear ratio. The one wire lockup I assume allows lockup on the 4th shift which will make lockup occur just after or right with the 3-4 shift, Unlike the lower gears I don't think this will be any issue other than a bigger rpm drop on the 3-4 shift.

I have TII rear which only comes with 4:10 gears, 255/50/16 DR's. I hit the rev limiter in 3rd and I do have the sleeve you are refering to and still will not shift. This is a built trans with a 2300 stall. And yes it only locks in 4th after 3-4 shift. I do not run lock up while race generally, I did try it last night and gain 5 mph at not quite WOT with no nos.

Hmm well with that it should make the shift I have not run into one that wouldn't with that sleeve odd

At what rpm is the 1-2 & 2-3 shift occuring at WOT?

If in drive/od at wot from stop 1-2 5000, 2-3 4700 3-4 never, unless I lift. I manually shift it to get to rpm.
