3800 stall = best bolt on mod
I just had my 3800 stall converter installed and man did it really wake the car up, theres zero dead spots and i can finally launch the car like hell. The only thing that happened was i throw a p0507 which is a high idle, it does idle about 200 rpms more than it usually does. ALso the driveability isnt even that bad, i kind of like how it drives

Kingc8r, the right shop should be able to cover all those things you mentioned for about $1500 or so.

Ouch man haha. I am not worried to much about my luck at the track last week. First time in an auto, first time in an F-body, First time with a stall, and horrible track w/bad Nitto's. And I have no problem being honest about my times. My trap says what the car will do.
Regardless..... looking at before and after times....the E/T's are dramatically dropped by a decent stall. I have seem up to 7 tenths! Hate to see what I would have scored without it hahaa.

I never drove this car without a stall. But I did have a 99 LS1 auto formula a few years ago before I was into Subarus. It was basically stock except flowmaster exhaust haha. It shifted nowhere near as hard or intense as the way the 3800 stall and shift kit does. Granted mine does have a few other small mods, but you can def tell the differnce night and day. Best first mod in my books....hints the reason I bought one with the stall already.
