Which stall for t-braked 4l65e?
Im having Vince at FLT freshin up my 15k and 200 pass 4l60e. I figured since its out and over there to try out a t-brake. Right now im running a vig 3k stall and i think its too little.
Im thinking of a 3600 stall but i no idea what the best would be considering im going to be using a trans brake with a 2step.
Also im getting it upgraded to a 3disk converter. I was hoping to lock it up in 3rd at about 5900rpm just to get 100% direct drive and get my mph up.
Is this somthing anyone does? It seems like a good idea.

I lock mine up and get the MPH up and it actually helps the ET a little too, and I too am wondering if I need to loosen up my converter. I have a post about that in the drag racing section since my car is mostly a strip only car. BTW, I can't wait to see what you think of the trans brake, I know people who were hit or miss with it so I am gathering info on more experiances...

I don't have an aftermarket tach and the computer does lock-up by MPH, and my car is slower and more then likely geared differently then yours, thant and I have an LT1 vs your LS1 so it isn't going to be the same. Although I have mine set to lock-up at 94 MPH in 3rd gear if that helps...
