Question Will a 1994 4l60e work in a 1995 camaro?
my tranny crapped out in my 95 lt1 camaro. i can get a 1994 4l60e from a 94 lt1 but I need to know if this is a straight swap? are the trannys interchangable? thanks

The 94 is a non PWM unit however if you swap the wiring harness and the PWM solenoid from your 95 to the 94 (the 94 does not have a pwm solenoid ) but if you do this it will fool your 95 computer and it will work ,

Since the 94 and 95 cars have the same computer, you can have some one load a 1994 program on your computer and you dont have to make any changes.

thanks guys . I have a guy with a 98 v6 camaro 4l60e any chance that will work in my 95 lt1 with no modification?

No the V6 trans will not work period without extensive mods to the trans
