Putting my Yank Stall in today any last words of advice?

Default Putting my Yank Stall in today any last words of advice?

Im about to go in the garage and install my yank stall first time doing it, but i've talked around on how to tackle this, any good hints or clues about this process?

Single most important thing make sure converter is fully seated in the pump

Ditto. Double, hell check it 4 times to make sure its seated properly. Oh and LONG *** extension! Lots of patience when getting to the top tranny bolts.

how do you know if it is seated or not?

1 1/8" from converter mounting pad to the outside of the bellhousing.

Yeah...Multiple extensions.

You basically need to reach from the tailshaft are to the bellhousing bolts with extensions.

One of the bolts, it helped to take away a couple of the extensions and get it from the side!

Try different variations to get it.

I had to unbolt the trans and drop it again to check something, and I did it by myself in about 15 minutes. Once you get the hang of it, all the bolts are fairly easy to get to.

I actually reached all but the top 2 with a flex head ratchet wrench.
