Ive got a 700r4 in the car with a stock LT1 kickdown, as of now I cant get the car to shif out of first. And when going threw the gears manualy it doesnt shift either.

Here is how the cable is mounted, I might have to make another bracket Like i did for the throttle cable. Anyway here are some pictures, let me know what ya'll think...

You need a linear stroke basically you want the cable to be pulled about 1/4 inch at idle yet in a nice even run be maxed at WOT does not look like you have that to me or even close .
This link should help you

Well I put a bunch of spacers on the cable when its at idle to see if that would tighten it to help shift, it didnt.

Is the location of the cable on the bracket and TB ok?

The bracket seems ok but its where it is on the throttle body I don't get it looks like the cable rather than being pulled is simply moved from bottom to top but not really pulled.

Now of note regardless of the tv position the shift should occur at some RPM maybe way high maybe way low but it should happen, You may also have a governor issue or something of that nature

Well lets hope not but hey things can happen and I was aware of that lol. But I will say I don't think that TV cable geometry is correct read the link i sent carefully, everything you need to know is there.
Then if after you get the cable geomtry correct you still have a shift issue holler at me and we can check the governor. Note driving the car with the tv cable geometry wrong even for a short distance can severely damage the trans and burn clutches up and I am not talking a long drive im talking a mile or two. So get that right first.
