3.8 V-6 Manual Valve Body
Okay so we have a 1996 3.8 Camaro we have been abusing for the fun of it before we swap in all our drag car junk and I got a posi 10-bolt with 4.10 gears I've been wanting to put in the car, but the problem is the speedo will be thrown off severely and we will be hitting the speed limiter way before the end of the quarter mile.
So where would I find a manual valve body kit so I can control all the shifting of the transmission and leave all the computer junk unhooked from the tranny? I'd still like to maintain overdrive also.
Next question does anyone make a stall for these cars?
How about complete transmission rebuild kits?
I've had no luck getting answers from other forums based on these cars. The only thing I have learned is 96 computers are not tunable.
All help will be appreciated!

Once again you were miss informed you will still have over drive "4th gear" but as a full manual it will be in 4th anytime you have the shifter in the OD position as each other gear will correspond to the position it is in ,
As for lockup you can set it up on a toggle switch or have your PCM flashed to ignore all the codes for the unused shift solenoids and simply have it control the lockup solenoids
