Default Couple of Pics-Rear Mounted Cooler

Snapped a few pics of the cooler mounted in the back. In the bottom two pics I added a little extension on each mount to angle the cooler some to "force" more air through it.

To avoid the possibility of getting any oil under the tires while making a pass down the strip.

I did the same with my coolant overflow tank.

so the trans line has to come all the way from the front of the car to the back? i can imagine that has to take quite a bit of extra time for it to get back there esp when running the car hard

If there is no air in the lines, the volume of trans OIL leaving the transmission will be returned at the same volume at the same time. Hydrolics.

The source of the fluid is in the middle, so I think
it's not much of a plumbing difference. But then,
with the fan you could mount the cooler anywhere
including up under the axle arch, etc. with maybe
less than stock distance.

Neat idea anyway.

Looks awsome to me. You just gave me an idea were to mount mine. I really don't see any negative to adding it to the rear. Are you bypassing the rad. now?

Yep radiator is bypassed. I did the same when I had two coolers up front but they were smaller.
