Default You aint gonna believe this trans mount was less then.......

A day old and I already broke it, It was a 2817 anchor mount I called rock auto and they are sending me another one for free because this wasnt their fault. They showed the 2817 has not being a good part # for my 99. This is the last time if it breaks again it looks like I'm SOL which I'm sure it will.

so you'd consider an anchor mount to be aftermarket LOL. I know I shouldn't skimp on something so important has my trans mount. What unit are you using?

broken tranny mounts are mostly from bad motor mounts...fix the mm and the tranny one will be fine

i broke a few stock ones and i had a prothane poly one that was horrible.
i ended up going with a 1le tranny mound and it has been fine for close to 2 years.
i got it from thunder racing and it cost about 40-50 bucks.
its stiffer that the oem but not as stiff as the poly one.

+1 on the oem factory mount from the dealer. Not sure if poly mounts are a good choice for a mild street car/DD.
