I am curious as to what requirements, skills, qualifications the sponsors of our industry look at in an employee when they are hiring. What type of degree, previous experience, training, etc. do you look for when selecting any employee.

I'm asking because i am looking to get into the field in the very near future. I have an advance regents highschool diploma, Associates in Automotive technology, 3 years of dealership tech work, and several years of welding/fabrication experience. what type of job could qualifications like this land me?
