Default Best job to support speed addiction??

So what does everyone do for a job to support their speed addiction? I ask because i just got out of the military and need a job, problem is i have no idea what i want to be when i grow up. I am taking a ton of police tests right now, Border Patrol also. One thing is for sure these NY winters are going to be a thing of the past for me!! F***k this 2 degree weather!!

What did you do in the service? If you can find something aplicable in the civilian sector I say go for it if you enjoy it.

For me its Air Traffic Control.

i really dig working on cars and am looking into wyotech and uti, but honestly are they really worth the $$? I am thinking about focusing on auto-body and street rod fabrication. How much do these people really make? Or is it just a better idea to get my fill watching musclecar and horsepower tv?

My job kind of restrains my addiction to a point..Im a high dollar salvage car dismantler...Supports me with good pay, cheap parts, lots of learning and oppurtunities, and shows you how killing you and everyone in the car looks when you drive like an idiot. So that always keeps me in check

I live in pensacola florida and am preparing to start the police academy right now! I know that the starting pay for a police officer here is just under 33,000! So not everwhere down south is terrible!

Thats not to bad for down there. Here in NJ Atlantic City Starting salary is just under $45,500. When I was going to join back in 02 it was just over $41,000

I didn't join the police like i had thought about for a short time. I'm a union carpenter. NY Carpenters are amongst the highest paid at over $41.70 a hr. Here in NJ we make $37.27 a hour. Any labor Union in NY/NJ will be a highly paid position.

My addiction is fed by a terrible paying job at a hardware store where my money goes to gas and my college. I have little money to spend on performance parts, so I let my gas be my performance.

about the lower salaries, you gotta take cost of living into account for that... new york is expensive as **** to live in...down south it ussually isnt unless your in the middle of dallas or another big city but it still doesnt compare to NY...and theres hardly ever snow or ice so that should be worth it too!
