Ford built **** for years......worse than some of the **** GM pawned off on people. Both of them should be leaders in any given automotive segments.....and why people bought those horrible mod motored trucks is beyond me.

Thats a great commercial! The marketing guys at GM need to learn something from the guys at Ford.

Its true, they never left, they were behind in some respects when compared to GM. The have been economically much healthier than GM so judging them NOW because of the new Camaro and its sales is just retarded. Ford has been selling more pony cars than GM for the last 20 years, even when their cars were behind in the performance department.

i think that was the coolest Ford commercial i've ever seen.....i'm a Chevy guy all the way, but both companies make a quality product.....the whole Ford vs Chevy thing is silly to me, i'd gladly rock out in a Cobra or Lightning any day.......stock for stock has been back and forth, but who ever stays stock?.....the guy who puts the most $$$ in the right places goes faster

And you want to ring the bell and conclude the fight over just like that? That is no different than all the Ford fanboys who got so excited that the new 5.0 is finally faster (if only marginally) than its Camaro counterpart.....considering they were behind the performance 8 ball for the better part of their 30+ year rivalry. One model doesn't change history. It just makes the future much more interesting.

GM still ended Mustang sales domination just as Ford has caught up with the LSX. Life goes on.

I'm sure the Camaro's 8 year hiatus and 5 year "It's coming!" hype helped just a little bit. It's a fine car and all, but there isn't anything it does better than the Mustang that would impact sales. People prefer the Camaro now... who knows what it will be like in 6 months?

I agree. So why drop the comment at all? The Mustang and Camaro have simply switched proverbial roles for the time being. The Mustang becoming the better performer and the Camaro becoming the one with more mainstream appeal. In another year or two or three this could all change. Who deserves the bigger pat on the back.......Ford or GM?

That, and the Mustang hasn't had a major redesign since 2005. Sure the 2010+ is different, but it's not that much different than the ones everyone already has.

I've been a big fan of the quality that Ford has come out with in the last couple years. GM has been coming around also...but I think Ford has the edge.
