Check the photos out for the Ciel concept.
It should be an awesome replacement for the XLR or Eldorado if they go through with it.

One of the most interesting things about it is its powertrain - a 425hp tt 3.6l v6.
That is likely going to be the mill chosen for the inevitable ATS-V.

Something isn't sitting right with me on the front fascia styling, but it does remind me of the Rolls Royce Drophead, which isn't such a bad thing. However, as it sits right now I'd prefer a used XLR-V to this.

Cadillac never fails to impress me. Here's the ELR (formerly the Converj concept), I like it better than the Ciel. It's going to be electric like the Volt with a 4cl generator.

eh....dont worry, 99.9% of all awesome concepts will not go into production. if this does, they will completely change it and ruin it

Not for me. If it makes it to production, it surely will be very different and if Cadillac intends to sell more than a couple, it'll have to change. I see remnants of the old Eldorado in that look, but it just looks too long and too low for anything BUT the aforementioned coastal cruise. They'd better keep it in CA though, because it rains elsewhere.

Haha. Nice thread. Guess I didn't look to hard to see if any others had been posted on the car. As I stated in the one I posted, the idea is kinda cool on putting the suicide doors in the car. Rest of the car not too hot but the suicide doors won't fly in this day and time. TT v6 in it would be fun though.

RX-8 has suicide doors. Supercab, Extracab, Clubcab... I think all 3 have suicide doors. Still don't care for the overall design, but it has its "spots."

I kind of like it. It reminds me of the old Cadillac style that boss hogg used to drive in dukes, just very updated. Id hate to see someone put bull horns on that one though.

Its ok... Cadillac been coming out with a lot of concepts! I like it... But the headlights are kind of weird looking. But not a bad start to make a high end luxury car

I think the Ciel is another step in the right direction for the Cadillac name.
It looks like a world class car.

The only problem I found was the boot, or rear end. It started great at the front then went to shat in the back!!! If they kept the same lines as the front it would have been perfect, but other than that it's great.
