Air Operated Valves -Could be on to something? Stole this from a local forum...
Brb no need for camshaft, brb whole new level of tuning, brb, not as much moving ****.
Maybe I'm behind on this, but seems like a legit idea...thoughts?

Several years ago there was a company that had electronically controlled valves. They had programable duration etc.
I dont know what ever happened to that idea. I thought it was pretty cool.

Hence the secong part of the quoted statment where I mentioned pneumatic valvesprings, not full actuation.

At this point in time...cost and production of this would obviously be a big factor, but I am failing to see where it'd be more $$$. Tank, compressor, lines, solenoid, computer timing..."basic" idea vs camshaft and everything that goes with it. On top of that, better fuel efficiency and performance on demand. Seems like one hell of an upgrade to me...
