This pretty much what I thought our Chevy SS version was going to be minus the wheels and bodywork.

A maloo with an LSA will be a burnout machine.

I love it.

Now that's a sedan I'd choose over a CTS-V. That HSV is beautiful!

I think GM needs to relocate their Holden design team to start working on the Chevy SS!

You can subtract out a lot more than that. GM won't stop at murdering the bodywork. They will pull all of the cool features natively found in the Aussie version just like they did with the G8. And then not even leave us with factory ipod support in the year 2009.

These two things are what is going to kill you.
Nonconforming vehicles less than 25 years old entering the United States must be brought into compliance, exported, or destroyed.
Duty rates for automobiles* (excluding trucks) 2.5%, for trucks 25%, and for motorcycles up to 2.4%, which is assessed based on the purchase price or blue book value.

It can be done but not easily because the name and brand of the car is different than any matching model in the USA you might have more to prove.

You will have to pay duties on the car unless you can prove you were in the military overseas or for a job.

I dig the sedan also...

So if I make friends with a military friend in Australia and pay him to bring it over. Hmmm sounds plausible.

That is a good question about the trucks. I guess American truck makers are really scared of unimogs. HAHA.

Man I wish they sold the Ute here. I'd have an old junky one with a diesel in my driveway if they sold them here over the years.

The vertical bar in the upper grill...why?!? It'd be perfect without that
