A long time ago, there was a MTV True Life thing...."I'm a street racer". It was around the first Fast and Furious time.

That's what that reminded me of.

Staged as hell. At least it cant be as bad as the "reality" series about the biker gangs. When did discovery and history channel stop having educational shows?

I'm sort of with you. I live here in Oklahoma City where this was filmed and I know these cars and people and have seen them on the streets. They are really street racers and this stuff really happens but it does seem like these specific situations are staged just for TV.

Also, wouldn't the cops see this, use it as evidence and arrest the people on the show?

Idk, maybe I'm ignorant to that kind of stuff...

Idk maybe. I'm anxious to see how the show turns out. Hopefully it's not as bad as the "reality" bike gang show. Regardless, the cars are badass.

Wouldn't the people doing the filming and airing also be partially responsible for their participation in "illegal acts?"
