I'm cool with the LCD and button layout, but the rest of the photos don't offer much, unless you really like the look of a triangular window... Looks like previous versions, only smaller.

Seems to be equipped with heated and cooled seats... That's nice and there's no doubt this one, as expected, is going to be on par with other recent Ford models regarding electronic pieces. Unlike those folks on Mustang6 or whatever, I'm all good with waiting till the real, final product hits showroom floors. That's when we'll really know, though we will have a good idea once Ford lets the media really have at it(probably around January). Still, so far it's nearly impossible to really see what the car looks like.

Looks pretty generic, just like the exterior.

There's not all that much to be seen. The only thing I can see there is how the centre console looks, not how the interior as a whole looks.

We've seen the nose and sides, it looks like a watered down 13. Since most of us drive LS motors here the taillights don't really matter, since we'll rarely see them.

You mean nobody drives side by side with you to get a good luck at that precious Bieber mug of yours?

It is an interesting change on the interior, but I think the clustering of buttons will be an issue. Interiors are getting too technical anymore - we need a more simplistic setup. Too many toys to distract drivers...

I'm .1 off a current 5.0 in the 1/4 and I'm putting in a new tranny with a 3600 in few weeks. So I, should be right there.

Probably... and won't you feel like a champion knowing you'll be "right there" with a factory stock Mustang GT... Maybe...

The new one is said to be getting a 470hp powerplant. If that's the case and if it weighs in around 200 lb lighter than the current version, you'd better plan on a hit of nitrous too.

The world is moving "forward" and the LS1 powered F-body is still a great drag racing platform for 2 reasons. #1, it's got an engine that can make good hp and torque and that can be swapped w/ similar versions which can REALLY make power. #2, it's not really good a a damn other thing... Modify modify modify...

So what did you run in the 1/4? You know the fastest stock 5.0 ran a 12.2 @ 114mph (mph is IIRC), and "normal" for them is mid-high 12s, right? Equal drivers, you're looking at more like a .3-.5s difference.

I think the toggle switches are some of the best parts...For the remarks seen here, none have given any reason there's an actual problem with them and they'll surely make for an easier switch than just about any other available. These are basically like a larger than normal and stronger than normal(based on looks and design) nitrous toggle switch. If ya think they look that bad, okay...

Agree, hate how most new cars have all these buttons and touch screens its just to much. By the end of the day I just love the simple basic interior my GTO has.

Like it or not though, that is the direction car interiors are headed. It's just going to be a matter of making it easy to use.
