Default 2015 BMW M3 427rwhp 430rwtq stock

Looks like BMW underrated the new M3/M4. With just a preliminary tune, the car gained 50rwhp and 50+rwtq. With downpipes when they become available, they will be over 500rwhp. On E85 probably around 550rwhp. Very impressive cars.

They are rated at 425 from the factory. If you subtract the tune and refigure for drivetrain loss. It comes pretty close.

It dynoed 427rwhp and 430rwtq stock. It is rated at 425hp and 406lbft. Factoring 15% for drivetrain loss it is making 500hp and 500lbft stock at the flywheel.

My bad. Title says that. Phrasing in text portion is a little ambiguous.

Those numbers seem sky-high. I'll be waiting for track numbers to confirm, but it looks very powerfull. Too bad they could not make a V8 making similar HP instead of this turbo 6. Less desirable IMO.

Less desirable to LSX fellas maybe, but the potential is much greater with this setup.

Like most automakers, they've worked on a smaller engine with the full potential to get its job done satisfactorily. Even GM is going smaller in many ways. After all, not everything can be the Corvette and standards are tough anymore. I think this new turbo build is going to absolutely spank the previous in the end. Turbos are where it's at... no matter where its at!

The numbers may be high for some reason, but the track will be impressed with this new M... They never fail to impress and this will be no exception.

All BMW TT engines make more than advertised. 335i was rated at 300 and made 280-290rwhp and gained over 100rwhp with just downpipes, intakes, tune and e85 or meth. F10 M5 dynoed almost 540rwhp and is rated at 560.

Also Terry Burger is a pioneer in the BMW TTI6 world. He holds records for stock turbo et and traps in the 135i/335i community. He said with the tune it feels like a 124mph car.
