This is the 2017 Chevrolet Corvette Grand Sport

The Corvette Grand Sport is back - and just like its 1960s ancestors, it's ready to hit the track.

Z06 looks with LT1 power. Seems like a great way to bridge the gap between the two current models, assuming the price will be somewhere between the Z06 and the Stingray.

I guess the only way to tell this apart from the Z06 from a distance will be by the wheels, graphics, and the red taillight lenses.

I LOVE this car. LOVE IT. My next car has to be something the wife can handle on that random day that her vehicle is in the shop. I'm not letting my wife drive this car.

I agree

If I could have it any way I chose: Heritage paint scheme with the collector edition blue interior (GS headrests, etc), Z07 package, then sent to Katech for their 427 LT1 program and track the hell out of it!

Think it would look great beside my C2

I pick up mine on Saturday. 2LT. Non-Z07. Admiral blue with torch red hashes but no skunk stripe. Red calipers. It's not this car but one identical to it.

I had originally intended to get a Z51, but after seeing everything you get for only a $5,000 premium over the Z51---bigger brakes, wheels, tires, the wide body and aero bits, GS sway bars and standard mag ride, as well as better resale down the road---it was a no-brainer.

It'll see 4-5 track weekends a year plus cruise-ins and such. It definitely won't be a garage queen like so many Corvettes are.

My apologies for opening an old thread.

Here are a few pics from the delivery at Kerbeck Saturday:

It's a 2LT 7-speed with PDR, red calipers and carbon flash mirrors and spoiler.

Getting ready for the drive back to NC. Note the C5 polo. Guess I'll have to update that too.

Their showroom was nuts. There were dozens and dozens more outside.

Kerbeck had exactly what I wanted and the whole evolution couldn't have been smoother and their staff was incredibly helpful.

Generally I find myself not attracted to the C7's styling but that is a very nice looking car jcsperson.
