Chrysler's Viper Based Hemi Powered Corvette Fighter
Dubbed Firepower for now http://www.autoweek.com/news.cms?newsId=101260
I like it except for the for now mandatory 5 speed slushbox. Makes me wonder if the Charger will even get a 6 speed manual as an option or if Chrysler/Dodge will be pulling a Mercedes on us and only offer an automatic with their top engine.
Nonetheless, nice sketches, but where the hell does this put the Crossfire SRT-6? To me THAT should be the more laid back GT while Chrysler goes a little more ballsy with this one offering 8 cylinders and a 6 speed stick to make things more exciting and actually go head to head with the Corvette.

"..... in the news today, Chrysler created another fantasy car to fill it's imaginary line up for customers banging down the door of Chrysler dealerships begging for $100K+ Chrysler sports cars.
When asked to comment, Chrysler officials said "Despite lackluster sales of the Chrysler crossfire and market confusion on what the point of the Crossfire SRT-6 is, we fell that adding a $60K+ Viper Based sports car and $200K+ ME sports car to our line up will meet a market demand for American luxury performance as Ferrari, Porsche and Lamborgini dealerships become ghosts towns. Besides what says perforamance more than Chrysler?"
In a related Story, Kia and Daewoo have decided not to enter the $60K+ sports car market."

I think the ME-412 is way more awesome than that thing.
