Default Chevrolet HHR

Not bad looking actually. Too bad it's about 5 years late and a blatant rip off of the PT Crusier. Way to go GM.

Just give us the Astra hatch and the Signum wagon for those of us who want more cargo room.

I think it looks kinda cool....kind of mix of the PT Cruiser and a Scion.

Think of a PT Cruiser with the front sawed off and big bug eyes, that 'll give you a fairly accurate mental picture of it.

...please tell me that they're not actually going to produce that thing...it couldn't be any more of a blatent rip-off of the PT Cruiser.

Morons at GM it seems, some dealers still have 03 SSR's in there stock, what makes them think that they can sell that load of crap?!?!?! You guys should check out eBay on SSR's damn near giving those over priced useless trucks away

It really doesn't look that bad, and if it's priced like the PT Cruiser I can see them selling fairly well.

I also think hating on cars like the PT Cruiser, and now this is a stupid bandwagon. The PT is a cool, stylish, versatile, and cheap little car, it's no wonder they were so popular, and it sure beats the Hell out of having yet another SUV ruining our roads.

The HHR is going to bomb, that's a tough segment in which to carve marketshare and edgy styling is not what sells.

I've said this before, GM needs to get rid of the old guard and let some of the younger guys at the helm. Stuff like the SSR is someone's baby, and it's a turd.

As much I don't really care for compact cars, at least the Cobalt tries to look like a nicer car than what it replaces.

I think that Chevrolet is struggling in regards to leadership and changes need to be made.

Yea this HHR makes think some Exec saw his first PT Cruiser 6 years ago and said "Thats cool I want one" and it's taken this long to make one with a Chevy badge.

Lutz says the HHR will sell 80,000 to 100,000 a year. He is also staunchly defending this Retro SUV. Kinda makes me feel all warm inside since I love the retro looks and with all the talk about not doing retro and how Lutz is against retro... you get my point.

Here! Read a cuurent article from autoweek whre Lutz gets a bit hot headed defending the HHR (which IMO is much nicer than the SSR and will do what the SSR failed to do, SELL).

The pricing will be similar to the Cobalt. Meaning cheap.

I believe the HHR is about 24 thousand dollars..

I don't know how they expect this little truck to compete with the PT cruiser that starts at 14 grand....

80 to 100k units a year? Hard to see this happening...

well.. if my choice was a little compact car or this. I'd be in a HHR.

Other than that, I don't have much use for it.
