New Merc S-Class (W221) Revealed

The fender flares look a little iffy, I'll have to see them from another angle. The new 4 valve V8s will probably be just as hot as the all new 4 valve V6 they introduced a year ago. I can't wait for the rumored 6.3L V8 mill from AMG. As for that interior, I'm seeing a lot of E65 in there. The COMAND System can obviously be likened to BMWs iDrive but OMFG is that a column shifter I see in there?!?! Yet another cue lifted from the E65.

i think the car looks good, but i hate the fact that the front end of s class is starting to look more like a ford torus everytime. But other then that i have no problem with the car. I would want to see what Renntech would do with this car, or brabus.

they just started putting those column shifters in the ML this year. they are prety funky. you push it up for drive and down for reverse. and there is a button yhat you push in for park, and since it' sright by the steering wheel that button is pretty easy to hit. also there is no saftey swith to keep it from going into park while your driving, so it sounds like trouble if you ask me
