2007 Dodge Caliber Official Pics & Specs
well here it is. We've all been cheering and booing depending on our own personal tastes for the last few months about whether or not the Neons replacement is a step up or rather a step down. They seem to have included quite a bit of cool things into the car. I like it personally. Yes it is a shruken down Durango if you squint your eyes, but hey to each his own.
Judging by the fact that the R/T is available with AWD, I'm going to guess that the debate in the SRT camp between the AWD and FWD boys seems to have been won by those shooting for AWD. The Caliber SRT-4 is rumored to be packing somewhere around 280-300hp. There was and possibly still is a debate as to whether the Caliber SRT-4 should be FWD to cut down on weight and costs or a full blown Evo chaser with AWD. Seeing as how the R/T is available with AWD, it would make sense that the SRT-4 would get the additional RWD drive components as well. My only gripe is that from a performance standpoint, the Caliber SRT-4 will be kind of a porker. The Caliber R/T AWD already checks in over 3300 lbs. The Caliber SRT-4 - regardless of which wheels move the car - will be a bit heavier than it's Neon SRT-4 predecessor.
All in all, I like the car, but dammit I wish all these new DC products weren't so damn heavy.

Damn, that's.... ugly.
Also, has anyone else been inside/checked out the interiors of the new Dodge's lately? Besides looking bland as all hell, they look and feel cheaper than anything else too. I have to say they rank the lowest in interior feel/design in my book.

Holy crap holds cold drinks for you and everything. I will never go thirst again, if i were crazy enough to own that ugly ****. I think they should have stayed with the neon i know they sold tons of SRT4s here in the South Florida area. But an AWD 300jp Evo chaser doesn't sound to bad. Its the looks that **** it all up.
