Looks like Honda is in a little hot water. Getting out of warranty work and charging for too many miles on leases.

Thats weird me and my GF were just discussing this the other day. We took her 98 Civic to TN to pick up my new truck. Well on the way home we stop by a BP and I fill both cars up, she resets her trip and I reset mine. She followed me back home and later that day we were figure up the MPG on my truck and got in an arguement over milage. Her car was reading a little over 17mi more then my truck. Keep in mind she was right behind me, same route, same turns etc.. So yeah I can believe it.

You were obviously too lazy to read the link. I think 2-4% is a high margin of error for a motor company that;s suppused to be so efficient and sophisticated. Some jap was too busy eating rice, instead of tuning them right.

Yeah, I heard about that, but WECIV is still right. Overstated odometer or not, I still get between 28 and 33 MPG in my '06 Accord.

And..."jap". Did you serve in WWII or something?

You could get that degree of error just by tire size
selection (e.g. set it up for Brand A 235/60 and then
cheap out and substitute Brand B 225/60 for mass
production, pick up 4% or so error to the high side.

Also explains why Hondas are slow, to everyone but
the driver

You don't even want to know how many "fat cracker" responses one could conjure up and spit right back at a racist statement like that. Get your head out of your ***.

lol, couldn't agree more with ya. Person wants to save money, person buys cheap car that's good on gas....person buys cheap tires for their "economical car and possibly pays the price in some mpg because of compromising on size. But damn can it pull

Stay on subject. If you don't have anything technical to add, move on.
