Ford’s iconic Mustang is due for refresh next year and will feature a completely revised powertrain lineup in addition to tweaking the car’s sheet metal and interior.

2010 Mustangs will be available with a new 5.0L SOHC V8 in replacement of the previous 4.6L unit. Power is rumored to be around 400hp.

The other new addition is Ford's new turbocharged V6 with 300hp, possibly more. Ford claims the new turbo six can churn out up to 415hp.

The GT500 will continue in the 2010 model year and it will retain its 500hp 5.4L supercharged V8.

Looks like a BMW fashioned steering wheel. Very nice...

Bout time they put some mirrors on the car that weren't off the F-series parts shelf.

Hard to get any other ideas. But the added power is awesome to see!

Why risk driving it around when OEMs have proving grounds? I will never understand.

I'm sure part of it is so people can take pictures post em online and they can some free press. I always wonder how often those guys get pulled over seeing as how you can't make out the license plate with that huge *** bra on.

Is this true? They are bringing back the 5.0! Its funny how they are going back to the basics (retro exterior & 5.0 engine). Hells yeah!

The interior looks nice but other than that it looks like it'll keep the same overall proportions/design.

I've always liked the 2005+ V8 Mustangs, this one will be all that much better.

That is kinda cool actually. I loved the three 5.0 Mustangs (and two Cougars) that I'd owned in the past and even though this is a totally different motor from the old OHV 5.0L, it's still a little nostalgic.

The slits next to the headlights remind me of a retro version of the '70 Mach-1. I'd like to see it without the bra on it.

All the backwoods people will think they're actually the OHV's.

Uh why? The mustang II's were some of the ugliest cars to ever be on the road.
