Default So I am looking for a V

I am thinking about buying my wife a CTS-V soon. I found a 2005 CTS-V for $26k with 11k miles on it. Is this too much for this car? Also are there any problems with the V series cars that I should know about? I don't want to spend any more than 26k on one and I don't want a high mileage car either as it will need to last quite a few years of daily driving. Any recommendations on what to look for and what to stay away from? Thanks
John

Not sure how it compares in your market area, but $26k for a low miles 05 is a good deal from where I sit. Even better if you chat it down to 24.

i got mine out the door from a caddy dealer ceritifed and the extended warranty absolutely mint condition for 25,000. it has 35k on the clock but still runs perfect. You should be able to find a nice on efor 26k but prolly have to be from a private owner. just be careful who you buy it from if you go private since you wont have anyone to hold accountable for it.

We should have a "I'm looking to buy a V sticky." Seem like a quarter of the threads lately are about this.
