Tpms!
Just bought a V. Left front TPM is the only sensor reporting. Other three have ---.
I went to the cadillacfaq site and followed to the "T" and maybe that is where my problem is, i dont know. Anyone ever re-program?
My steps
1)Ignition to RUN
2)Hold LOCK and UNLOCK on key fob for approx. 10 sec until horn honk
3)Released pressure out of Left Front for 3-5 seconds... waited about 30 sec until honk
4)Went to Right Front... released pressure for 3-5... NO HONK! Waited about a minute...
5)Moved on the Right Rear... same thing as right front
6)Moved on the Left Rear...same thing as RF and RR.
7)About two to three minutes later... Two Honks... NO SENSORS ARE REPORTING.
My goal was either to deactivate the TMPS so i could go in comp mode or re-program the other three sensors. I was able to go into comp mode for about 1/8 mile... then the LF started reporting again.
The tires i have on the car are Michelin Pilot Sports. Max pressure 51psi. I went to 35psi and the tire does not have enough pressure and giving a concave U footprint. So i aired it back up to 46-47 on my analogue gauge. Right now the LF is reporting 45.
I read that there is a battery inside the TPMS. Is there a chance that the battery is dead?

Ok. That is what i figured was wrong with the faq site but haven't tried it yet. It just says repeat for each RF RR and LR. Doesn't mention which steps exactly. Thats what i get i guess for over-thinking it.

^^ no you don't.....your sensors are bad...it happens, quite frequently unfortunately....I have had sensors that wouldn't program the way you describe yet when the dealer put their tool on it, they started working, almost like the sensors went to sleep....you can try that...most tire places have the tool. everytime you press the lock/unlock it restarts the programming sequence.

If you just pull the sensors it will start to work after about 50 miles or so. Just dont leave the sensors in range for the car to pick up or you will see the pressure and as soon as one drops off again you will loose the ability to turn off TC for another 50 miles or so.

20's at night. It was the coldest night in 2 years here..haha. The next few nights will be in the teens and low 20s. I just think its strange that one night of 20 degree weather killed my tpm sensors and my key fob.
