o2 Sims questions?

o2 Sims questions? Are the o2 sims for the caddy, the same as any other LSx car? I got some for mine but the plugs are different. But the plugs have provisions it seems for the configuration needed.
The white plug is my o2 sensor plug. The black plug is the sim. Can I just cut the black plug slots so that it works? FWIW, the purple wire is in the same position on the sims as it is the sensor. The black plug when recieved only had one key to it. But then I started looking and there is a tall and a short key to it. They're backwards right now. I could cut one more provision out though and they would snap in. Anyone know of any problems by doing that?
