On cars of yore, chassis rigidity was lacking. I had subframe connectors on my SHO and that was a great improvement. But I can lift 3 wheels off the ground by jacking the V on 1 corner.
It's like tuneups. On musclecars of the late 60s, throwing in new plugs can get you quite a lot of hp. Today our Vs may see a hp gain with new plugs, it's immeasurable. Subframe connectors will help to a small degree, but I think it's not worth the trouble.

The V chassis is a pretty well designed piece, and the "framerails" are a very integral part of the car, meaning, there isnt much they dont already tie together.
