Default HSW CTS-V 78mm Plate Kit and All-Out Nitrous Accessory Kit is Here **PICS**

Well guys today Fedex brought me a present...well one that I already paid for! I promised photos of the unboxing and kit. That will be this thread. The next thread will be dedicated to the install. Then there will be one more for the results.

Here are the Pics!!!

Box as it arrived:

The actual kit with various mounting hardware and wiring. It is the Sudden Impact LS6 CTS-V Wet Plate Kit:

The Microedge Nitrous Controller:

The HSW Interface to pull timing and control top end fueling:

The Billet Nitrous Filter Kit:

Nitrous Purge Kit and Install Kit:

Nitrous Bottle Heater:

Nitrous Bottle Blow Down Tube:

10lb Nitrous Bottle:

It also came with 8 NGK TR6 spark plugs but my camera didn't save the photo. I cant wait to install this bad boy, but its going to have to wait until after June 22 because I'm going to the dealer for differential and clutch warranty stuff and don't want them to see the nitrous kit! Install, dyno, and race result threads to come!

I don't even remember I want to say around $1200. Go to Harrisspeedworks.com and add the kit and the all out accessory kit to your cart. Then add the interface controller and there you go!

that zex kit is as simple and reliable as they come.
my tuner has the very same kit on his 01 z06.

hook that thing up allready!!! buy that nano system
as a piggyback as well as the accesory kit they (zex)
sells. Ie: heater, blowdown, window switches,ect...

and 04fla, this isnt 1987...
no more "puddling" going on these days.

get out of the guys head,... and be mad at yourself you
went the route you did for half the power and 4x the cost.

I've been reading a LOT since I bought the kit, and if my fuel pump is up to the task I'll probably run a 125 shot normally and a 150 shot on the dyno and at the strip

Well he is right to an extent. With the excellent distribution of today's plate systems there is no much puddling going on as long as you stay within reason. Running a 300 shot on a plate is stupid, but with a 150 shot or less there is not THAT much fear of puddling as long as you are smart about it.

Im not saying this is a for sure thing....but it is a risk you take, and that is all i was trying to get across.

reading will give you more knowledge then most give credit

COPIED FROM THE NITROUS FAQ ON THIS SITE:

IF you shut down too early and do not stop spraying early enough, the fuel/nitrous mixture can puddle up inside the intake and cause a nitrous backfire. If you have never seen one, I hope you never do. They are not pretty. I had one in my old racecar. It was a 250 shot and it blew halfway down the track. The hood was toast, the intake was split in 3 pieces, TB cracked in half and the MAF was blown away somewhere and couldnt be found. Not fun. While this isnt a common occurance, it IS possable.
