Default b&b vs kooks headers with magnaflow exhaust?

hello all,
so i ordered kooks 1 7/8 headers from a performance shop in tucson, long story short they sent them back due to a crack found on them. They installed my magnaflow and it sounds good, but now they ordered b&b headers for me due here next week. Has anyone done this combo? and do i need high flow cats to connect headers to exhaust? Oh and will it hurt me if I don't get an intake with my full exhaust? I did get an hp tuner tuning with my exhaust. thanks in advance

You're gonna need to order a mid-pipe to mate the headers to the cat-back. From what I've seen, the intakes really don't do a whole lot. I'm just gonna be getting a drop in filter. I've heard the Kooks are best, that's what I'm gonna be going with, but I'm not very familiar with the B&B setup. But I know Billy Boat has a black pro-charged V and he lives out in Glendale.

Why did they order the 1-7/8" instead of the 1-3/4"? If you're NA, you'll want to stay with the smaller primaries.

Did they order the B&B in 1-7/8"?

I would have preferred Kooks since its been proven on a lot more cars. They do make some nice headers. Hope it works out for you but why did they switch it up on you?

i dont see how the 7/8 would be that much of a power loss compared to the 3/4. i have never seen a dyno saying so just lots of people giving speculation.
