Default Stealth Gray - Paint the Grille?

I love the monotone look of my vehicles - murdering out my truck (dark blue, and making everything body color or black).

However, I like the Stealth Gray color as well, but what have you guys done to "murder out" the grille and other shiny parts?

Can you guys post some photos of nice grill and trunk work? Thanks!

Thats the way im heading, but my fogs and front markers will be blacked out too. I also wouldnt paint the calipers red, the stealth grey and red/orange dont go well together IMHO. Id also get rid of any chrome except for the 2 caddi logos, and the 3 V's (still debating keeping them).

Ive also got some black paint ideas for the car. Thinking of doing the GT-R front look, w/ painting from the top corners of the top grill down to the bottom corners of the lower grill.

I think it would look much better in a black chrome color rather all-out black.

You thinking like a translucent black or smoke powdercoat to make it darker? Anyone got any leads on who can do this?

It's called black chrome plating, which I guess you can say is translucent black. It sort of looks like deep dark tinted chrome and let's some of chrome shine through. Do a Google search on black chrome plating and find a bunch of pictures. Here's a picture of it on a black car. I'd go all dark black if I had a black V, but all black is too dark on a SG V, IMO. I think the black chrome rims and grill would sick on SG V.

I also have a SG V and was thinking aboutthis esp cuz the prev owner curbrashed the wheels up pretty good. I'm thinking black chrome for grill and wheels but that might b too dark idk cuz black dn look right to me on SG. Maybe even a "gunmetal" or just a darker metalic ish silver

I think color matching the grille SG may look best. It'll make the front end appear a little more streamlined.

I have always wondered how black rims/grille would look on this car and I think I'd like it. I may do that one day.

if you black out everything thats chrome, why not black out your V emblems except for the flag on it. thats what i did to mine. instead of getting rid of them

As someone else said, i think black chrome might be a good choice for all of those things on that color. And as far as the V logos, i plan to remove mine completely or have some black/white or solid black flag cutouts made to lay over the colored part since everything on my car will be black.
